Hi, my name is Jayde De la Coeur and I’m an Art Psychotherapist. I am a passionate, creative soul who truly cares about children’s mental health and well-being. My journey began when I was a child and I used art and storytelling to help me communicate my feelings. I knew then helping children to express creativity is what I wanted to do as an adult.
I graduated from the University of Western Sydney with a Masters of Art Psychotherapy and was excited to begin working therapeutically with children. Since then, my experience includes, designing programs for children at risk, facilitating social and emotional learning groups through creative expression, social groups for children with ASD, individual psychotherapy and counselling, and helping parent and child relationships flourish.
I love my job and helping children reach their full potential in a safe and creative environment.
A quote that inspires me each day
“I found I could say things with colour and shapes that I couldn’t say any other way – things I had no words for.” Georgia O’Keeffe
