A Backyard Ultra is an endurance race where runners tackle a 4.167-mile (6.71 km) loop every hour, on the hour, until one remains. Miss the start or finish late and you’re out, with no set endpoint.
Enjoy Sydney’s streets in crisp autumn conditions. The 21.1km Half Marathon winds through the CBD, passing icons like the Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Barangaroo Reserve, The Rocks, and the Pyrmont Peninsula for a spectacular city run.
UTA100 delivers 100 stunning kilometres across cliff tops, lush valleys, ridges, then the 951 Furber Steps to the finish. The weekend ends with 1km-4-Kids, letting young trail runners race and proudly finish beneath the UTA arch.
Real Insurance Harbour 10 2026 is Sydney’s harbour-side running festival each winter, offering 10K and 5K races for all abilities. Runners start near the CBD, chase PBs on fast roads and finishes at the Sydney Overseas Passenger Terminal at the Rocks.
City2Surf is Sydney’s iconic 14km fun run each August, starting in the CBD and finishing at Bondi Beach. With Heartbreak Hill, costumes, elites and walkers alike, for all abilities, it’s a community race and a great way to get the kids involved.
Kosciuszko Ultratrail, Oceania’s Alpine Ultra-Trail, runs through Australia’s Snowy Mountains and high Alps. Among granite outcrops and snow-gum forests, its challenging, flowing trails are designed to spark the ultimate runner’s high in every stride, all weekend.
Open to Rotary members, families, friends, groups, and students, the eFun Run lets entrants choose a distance to cover over the week – walk, run, jog, or ride anytime, individually or in teams, and fundraise at your own pace.
