KidsXpress is committed to ensuring that no child misses out on receiving the support they need.
Clients that meet our criteria for limited financial means are eligible for heavily subsidised services through the generosity of our donors.
Full fee paying services are also available and are not prioritised over those receiving subsidies.

School-based program: If your child attends a partner school, please speak with your child’s school to find out about the referral process.
Community Partnership Program (Macquarie Park and Tumut Centres): We accept referrals from professionals actively engaged with the child and/or family, such as GP’s, school counsellors, and caseworkers from health, education, or welfare sectors. Parents/Carers and other family members may also refer children when no other services are involved.

This is determined on a case-by-case basis and depends on the therapy setting and on the referral reasons, although three months tends to be a fair estimate.
Referring professionals are required to contact us for a KidsXpress referral pack.
One referral form, including a signed consent form by the parents/carers and referrer must be completed for each child in consultation with the parents/carers.
Yes. Our therapists will consult with you at regular intervals. Upon completion of a therapy program, you will receive a summary of your child’s participation in our program, along with any further recommendations – if required.
For research requirements and to validate the program’s efficacy, parents/carers and referrers are required to provide feedback.
