Welcoming Two New Board Directors – Andrew Da Silva and Dr Andrew Young

KidsXpress is delighted to welcome two exceptional leaders to its Board of Directors — Andrew Da Silva and Dr Andrew Young PhD — whose combined expertise will further strengthen our governance and strategic direction.

Appointed in June 2025, Andrew Da Silva (better known as Das) is a Director at EY Studio+, where he leads customer experience, marketing strategy and performance improvement. Das brings deep knowledge of digital transformation, marketing technology and the evolving potential of generative AI, and will guide KidsXpress in harnessing innovation to future-proof our impact and engage more effectively with the communities we serve — and the supporters who make our work possible.

Joining in October 2025, Dr Andrew Young is a highly respected leader in the social impact sector, with over 25 years’ experience across aged care, disability, mental health and community services. A former CEO of several major not-for-profits, Andrew brings invaluable expertise in governance, social policy and government partnerships — expertise that will help guide KidsXpress as we expand our reach and strengthen our advocacy for children’s mental health.

KidsXpress Board Chair and Co-Founder Paul Hines welcomed the appointments, saying:

We’re thrilled to welcome Andrew Da Silva and Dr Andrew Young to the Board at such an exciting time in our growth. Each brings unique strengths that will help us balance innovation with social impact – ensuring KidsXpress continues to lead with insight while staying deeply grounded in the communities we serve”.

CEO and Co-Founder Margo Ward added:

“I’ve known both Andrews for many years, and it’s a joy to officially welcome them as Directors into the KidsXpress Village. They’ve stayed connected because they genuinely believe in what we do — in the power of expressive therapy to heal, and in the importance of wraparound caregiver support for sustainable, long-term impact. Their passion and experience will help drive our mission forward in ways that honour our past while embracing the future.”

Together, Andrew Da Silva and Dr Andrew Young bring insight, innovation and heart, qualities that will help KidsXpress continue creating a lifetime of change for children and the adults who support them.
