Shane Fitzsimmons

Shane Fitzsimmons, Former Commissioner of Resilience NSW and the NSW Rural Fire Service, Shane Fitzsimmons was appointed as Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in the 2022 Australia Day Honours for his high level of leadership, empathy, solemnity and calmness during the horrific Black Summer bushfires of 2019-2020.

Through both his work and personal experiences, Shane has a deep understanding of the traumatic impact a natural disaster can have on a child's emotional well-being. We're truly honoured to have Shane as part of our village.

Lachlan Dearing

Lachlan Dearing

Lachlan Dearing is one of Australia's up and coming stars, having performed in various musicals including 'Hamilton', 'Jack and the Beanstalk' and 'Saturday Night Fever'. You may also recognise him from his days performing with children's entertainment group 'Hi-5'. Lachlan’s journey with KidsXpress began when he was just 8-years old, when he performed at our launch party.

With a deep passion of the creative arts and the strong belief in the restorative powers of music and dance for children, Lachlan has been a proud Ambassador of KidsXpress since 2017. Lachlan is currently touring the nation as part of the Hamilton ensemble.

Frank Puletua

Frank Puletua

Frank Puletua has played over 175 first grade NRL games as well as two Rugby League World Cups (2000, 2008) for his country of heritage Samoa. By the age of twenty-six, Frank had completed a double degree in Fine Arts and Graphic Design all whilst competing at the highest level as a full time player in the NRL.

With the commitment that was displayed to his teammates throughout his 13 season NRL career, Frank now focuses much of his energy in the educational and welfare realms – encouraging more players to use the opportunities presented through football to ensure a better standard of life for themselves and their families. In February 2023 he joined Oceania Rugby in the role of General Manager.
